New news from Oz

Sorry but there are no new pictures to post other then the last of New Zealand and right now...I can't find that disc. Australia has been pretty disappointing for us so far. I am sure that it has a lot to do with the weather because it has been crap! If it is not raining then it is extremely hot. They were having a bit of a dry spell and to our luck we came when the that spell decided to end! I know what you are thinking...you feel real sorry for me! It seems that we have hit a rough spot....come on now you didn't expect all my news to be great now......everyone knows that noone can have a perfect year and this year didn't start that way for us. We did have a great New Year's Eve and I have some awesome pictures but those will be burned on a disc when I get enough total pictures to fill it up! So far the time here has not been what I expected the land is flat and dry and their national parks are like the reserves in the US! They are all bush! The beaches are nice but no different then the ones in the US! I have yet to have this country grab me yet! Now the up side of this, is that there is still two and half months to go and this county is the size of the entire US. We have only seen an area of about the size of one state. So I am not going to count my chickens before they are hatched. There is plenty of time for me to change my mind, and I am sure that it will be changed. The Great Barrier reef and rain forest have yet to be seen and we are headed on our way to hike to the highest point on this continent and travel the great ocean road which is supposed to be marvelous! Now if only the weather will cooperate! The sun finally came out today! I praying that it will stay that way for more then a couple days....All my love to everyone and I promise more pictures soon!

A Couple of Pics from New Zealand

Hey everyone. Well from the last post..you know that I am now in Australia! There are loads more pictures from Christmas in New Zealand and my property in Rotorua...Those will have to wait for a later time because I am at a hostel with free internet and one computer and that means there is always someone waiting to use it....so I can't be on here forever! NEW YEARS was awesome....we spent it on Sydney harbour. With a view of the city the opera house the bridge and the water right around around us. The fireworks were spectacular! I hope everyone had a great one back home! Cristal...I am glad that you got the card..and I am surprised it got there so quickly! Why are you bumbed out...? e-mail me and let me know what is going on. Emily I got your e-mail and will right you back when I have more time. I miss you and am glad that you had a great time with my family for Thanksgiving! I was glad to hear that you went up there! Mr Ass...who lost was it South Carolina or Southern California? And to everyone else I miss you all too.....We have our car now and the freedom of the road! It is nice to be out in the city and into the vast Australia....the county is about as big as the whole US so there is alot to explore...speaking of which....got to run. ......
The best shot I have of the orca we saw in Kaikora . It was an amazing experience!

My first time viewing wild orca! This shot of one juvinile under the water!

Another shot of the rainbows....this time two of them. I have more shots where you can actually see where the pot of gold is! Those will have to wait for a different time.

Valley of rainbows in New Zealand. These rainbows left and came back at least 5 times during the time in the valley.
